UNICOM has joint forces with two partner organisations (I~HD and EHTEL) to organise a very informative week in Ghent (Belgium) from November 29th till December 1st.

We have two main objectives for this major event:

Start a process for onboarding all European National Competent Agencies on the IDMP journey by providing important initial inputs from NCAs which have already successfully implemented those major changes and collect initial requirements from NCAs not active in UNICOM. Several UNICOM sessions will be proposed on the 29th with the first one only opened only to the official representatives of the NCAs to facilitate interactions. This is the first time that UNICOM officially invites all European National Competent Authorities for Medicinal Products not active within UNICOM to attend an interactive conference.

Connect the NCAs community with the whole Medicinal Products value chain and eHealth actors in particular with dedicated sessions dedicated to governance, current and prospective use cases,  patient safety,  connexion with upcoming major EU initiatives and projects such as the European Health Data Space.

We truly believe that the sessions will help the European NCAs and all other impacted actors to get a better understanding of the wider picture.

The event will start on Wednesday 29th at 9:00 and will end on Friday 1st afternoon.  Sessions specifically dedicated to medicinal products will however take place essentially on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th .
