Next UNICOM Community of Expertise webinar upcoming on Friday, 4 September, 15-16 CET: How to determine and manage a globally unique identifier for pharmaceutical products?

The UNICOM bimonthly interactive sessions are organised by UNICOM workpackage 1 “IDMP-related standards and terminologies.” The webinars provide a wider public access to the UNICOM Community of Expertise and discuss current IDMP topics and further issues related to the identification of medicinal products in regulatory and clinical contexts. The webinars are complemented by an extensive questions and comments section.

The next (2nd) webinar on Friday 4 September, 3-4 pm CEST will focus on definition, governance and attributes to be employed for calculating a globally unique identification for pharmaceutical products (PhP) as defined by IDMP, the PhPID:

PhPID: Calculating a globally unique identification as defined by IDMP, for which purposes?

The presenters will share with you their experience and views, with some focus on adverse events (WHO-UMC), medicinal product dictionary and their future capacity to interact (Z-Index), PhPID as an additional identifier to support prescription and other processes (HL7 Europe).
