UNICOM featured in EU eHealth, Wellbeing & Ageing Newsletter

In its 29 June 2020 newsletter on Digital Health, Wellbeing and Ageing (LINK: https://ec.europa.eu/newsroom/dae/newsletter-specific-archive-issue.cfm?newsletter_service_id=102&lang=default) the European Commission reported about the “ UNICOM Project: Facilitating the free flow of detailed, semantically coded interoperable information about medicines across Europe.” It points out that the reliable, accurate identification of medicinal products is a global challenge – both for patient safety and better healthcare. It states that this EC-supported project will become a game changer for the unambiguous identification of the characteristics and attributes of medicinal products.
