STICHTING NATIONAAL ICT INSTITUUT IN DE ZORG (Nictiz)
Nictiz is the Dutch independent national competence centre for electronic exchange of health and care information. The activities of Nictiz include the targeted development and management of information standards at the request of and in partnership with the stakeholders in healthcare. Nictiz advises these parties on all aspects of information exchange and identifies (future) national and international developments. To this end Nictiz maintains close cooperation with the international Standardization Organizations: IHE, HL7, SNOMED International, PCH Alliance, CEN/NEN. Nictiz is the National Release Center for SNOMED CT in the Netherlands. Nictiz is an active participant in present and past EC projects (eHAction, X-eHealth, ASSESS CT, eStandards, JAseHN, Antilope, epSOS). Nictiz is a member of EHTEL and participates in the network for European competence centers (EHTEL/ELO).
